Safety is our top priority

We believe that every job should be done right — and done safely. That means:

  • Careful planning and hazard identification

  • Competent equipment operation

  • Routine maintenance on all machines and vehicles

  • Qualified, trained teams on every site

Our team knows what they’re doing, and they’re backed by the tools and training to do it safely, efficiently, and with care.

Every Bullhead project is overseen by an experienced Project Manager who ensures things stay on track, on budget, and on time. A dedicated Supervisor will be on site, equipped with the training and qualifications needed to meet both Bullhead’s standards and client-specific requirements.
From operators to labourers and safety reps, our crews are hand-picked and trained to exceed expectations.

Experienced Project Personnel

Safety Certifications and Training

Our team is fully trained and certified to handle the demands of the various services we provide. We invest in ongoing safety training to keep our employees updated on the latest industry standards.

In addition to formal certifications, we conduct regular safety training sessions, safety drills, and site inspections to ensure that safety protocols are being followed.

Our Safety philosophy

Zero Tolerance

Zero Tolerance for Unsafe Practices: We take every precaution to ensure that our team works in the safest conditions possible. Any unsafe practices are immediately addressed.

Continuous Improvement

Continuous Improvement: We regularly review and update our safety procedures to adapt to new industry standards and best practices.

Accountability

Personal Accountability: Every member of our team is responsible for their own safety, and we foster a culture where safety is everyone’s priority.

We don’t put anyone on the job who isn’t ready. All employees go through task-specific training and are evaluated for competency before working independently. Supervisors and management ensure that each team member is fully qualified for the job they’re doing.

Downtime and equipment failures aren’t just expensive — they’re unsafe. That’s why Bullhead invests in new, well-maintained tools and machinery. Our preventative maintenance program ensures every piece of equipment is job-site ready and safe to operate.

Reliable Equipment

Any subcontractor working under the Bullhead name is held to the same high standard. Before joining a project, subcontractors undergo a prequalification process that includes safety performance, training records, and financial stability checks. They are expected to follow Bullhead’s HSEMS, orientation protocols, drug and alcohol policies, and all applicable client and OH&S regulations.

Subcontractor Standards

Driven by Continuous Improvement
