Projects List

Culvert Installation Under a Rail Section

In one of our latest projects, we installed a culvert under an active rail section, providing support drainage and ensuring long-term infrastructure stability. This project highlights our ability to deliver reliable excavation services in Alberta, supporting industries ranging from transportation and rail to oilfield and agriculture.

Livestock Water Line Installation

Bullhead completed an agricultural excavation project for a local farmer, installing a water line to support livestock water bowls. This ensures reliable, year-round access to water and demonstrates our commitment to practical solutions for Alberta’s agricultural operations.

Silage Pit Reshaping Project

As harvest season approaches in Central Alberta, farmers are preparing their operations for maximum efficiency, and that includes ensuring their silage pits are ready for heavy use. We recently completed a Silage Pit Reshaping Project that showcases how we help agricultural clients optimize their storage systems before the silage starts rolling in.

Rail Section & Switch Removal - Alliance Rail Expansion

Bullhead Environmental provided expert rail removal services for the Alliance Rail Expansion Project, supporting regional infrastructure development with the extraction of rail sections and switch components. Our experienced crew and two heavy-duty excavators safely and efficiently removed rail ties and switch infrastructure, preparing the site for the next phase of yard construction. Specializing in excavation, industrial site prep, and heavy equipment services, Bullhead delivers reliable results for construction, transportation, and civil infrastructure partners across Western Canada.

Residential Demolition and Utility Prep

Bullhead recently completed the demolition of a home for a local landowner, including gas line relocation and installation of a new water hydrant. From teardown to utility coordination, our team handled the job safely and efficiently, clearing the way for future use of the site.

Constructing a Future Building Pad

When it comes to preparing the foundation for a new structure, every inch of detail matters. For one local farmer, Bullhead Environmental was tasked with creating a future building pad while also reclaiming a borrow pit used for clay extraction. In this project, our team handled everything from sourcing quality materials, hauling and placing soil, to compacting over 7,500 yards of clay into a durable, level pad, all while restoring the landscape back to its original state.

Concrete Lego Block Delivery & Placement

When a client needed heavy-duty concrete lego blocks delivered and placed with precision, Bullhead was ready to handle it from start to finish. These interlocking blocks are often used for retaining walls, material storage bins, and structural support—and moving them safely takes the right equipment and experienced operators.

Cleaning Out a Slurry Pit

We were called in by a local oilfield company to assist with a full slurry pit clean-out—part of their routine maintenance and environmental management program. These types of projects require precision, proper containment strategies, and a reliable team that can get in and get the job done right.

Shoring Box Installation for Integrity Dig

This project focused on the safe installation of a shoring box to support an integrity dig on an active pipeline. The work was part of a planned inspection and maintenance program, designed to assess the condition of buried pipeline infrastructure and ensure ongoing operational integrity.

Contamination Spill Clean Up

Our team was brought in to manage the cleanup and remediation of a contaminated site requiring immediate environmental intervention. The project involved the safe removal of hazardous materials and the restoration of the area to meet environmental compliance standards.
